Apart from the alphabets and symbols, it is also vital to practice typing number as it is unavoidable to include numbers either in your assignments or letters. After you have completed basic typing exercises, it is helpful to measure your progress by typing within certain time limit.

These tests are called timed typing test. It tests your typing speed and the accuracy. Without these tests, it is sometimes quite difficult to know your learning progress.

There are many online typing practices that you can consider adopting for your daily typing practice. I find these exercises useful and practical. The best part is you can do it whenever you like.
